Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions (T & C) are a mandatory attribute of every offer. These are a legally binding statement that defines all terms and conditions that must be met to redeem an offer.
As T & Cs are shared across many offers, your administrator can create templates to retrieve automatically during offer creation. This helps streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
Each template should follow the same format with slight adjustments to account for the specifics of each offer.
For example:
- BOGO with same product
- BOGO with different product
To create and manage Terms & Conditions, navigate to the Settings tab and select Terms & Conditions from the

DOE T&C’s
- BAU T&Cs and DOE T&Cs will both be available in VCE under Settings > Terms and Conditions.
- Marketers must create DOE T&Cs for each offer template or one set for all templates, including language for segmented offers (e.g., "This offer is intended only for use by the recipient").
- VCE will automatically associate the correct DOE T&Cs with the offer based on market input.
- Marketers must create T&Cs via the BAU process and share them with the VCE team through Service Cafe once PE3 is enabled and before an offer recommendation bank is shared by PE3.
- T&Cs should not include engine-generated variables (e.g., pricing). Any updates to DOE T&Cs can be made manually in the VCE UI but must be communicated to the VCE team via Service Cafe.
