Offers

Offers are promotions provided at the customer level. The incentive details are defined within the offer and later used in campaigns to publish and make available to the customers via the GMA (Global Mobile App).

    Offer Creation

    Navigate to the Offers tab. Let's begin with guiding you as a marketer with the "How To" of creating a new Offer (or click here to go directly to learn about Managing your Offers). 

    Follow the steps below to create an offer:

    1. Click  icon to display your Add Offer details window.

      See the sample below and familiarize yourself with the details. Review the fields and then follow up with the comprehensive description that guides you through creating your new offer.



    2. Complete the mandatory fields:   
      Information Depending on the market, some fields need to be entered in one or more languages.
      1. Select an offer template from the dropdown menu. (See template selection table below for additional details).



      2. Based on offer selected, the Buy, Get and For fields will vary. See samples below:
        When you select the BOGO template, the following dependent fields are displayed:



        When you select Substitution, the dependent fields vary:



        1. Select the products to include in this offer. (Below the template selection table, there is a description on product selection).
        2. Complete the Get and/or For fields paying attention to the dependent fields that appear based on your selection. 
          1. These fields are used to help define the specific details relevant to the current offer.

      3. Select an image. The image is a mandatory visual aid that displays the offer details and enhances the user journey. 
        1. Once you click Select Image , a window displays the available images.

        2. You can search via tags or key word search.
        3. Click an image 
        4. Click Save
      4. Enter a Title.
      5. Select the relevant T & C.
        1. If there is a predefined T&C for the specific offer template - this field is auto-populated.
        2. If there are several options, you must select one.
        3. Once you select a template, you can edit as needed, directly within the offer.
        4. If you choose to edit, an information icon is displayed in the T&C text box informing you that an edit has been made and potential consequences. See info box below:
          Information Changes made to the T&C from within the offer are not reflected in the T&C repository. In addition, no future template changes are applied to this T&C.

    3. Once all mandatory fields are complete, the Save button is enabled. 
    4. Notice there are additional fields to add detail to your offer. The following fields are optional and included for your benefit:

      1. Enter a subtitle to help differentiate this offer.

      2. Add a description of the offer details.

      3. Select one or more tags to help identify this offer or add a new tag.

      4. Select the point of distribution. By default, both are preselected. Can leave both or deselect one however, cannot be left blank.
      5. Click Save or Cancel
    • Save - To create the record. The offer is now visible in the offer repository. A toast assures you that offer has been successfully saved. 
    • Cancel - To cancel record creation. If you select cancel, you will be asked to confirm. 
    Information There are times you may start an Offer to use as a placeholder. As long as the Offer Title and Offer Template Type are defined, you are able to Save as Draft and return to complete the details at a later time. 

    Review of Offer Templates and Product Selection

    Offer Templates

    Once you select an offer template, relevant dependent fields are displayed. As you enter the details, based on your input, some fields will requests additional information. For example: 

    • When you designate the discount condition in the For field, this influences the dependent fields that follow.

    The table below describes the unique fields requested based on template selected: 

    • As part of completing the mandatory information, you must select the related products. See the image and example below the template selection table to learn more about Product Selection.

      EXTERNAL DIGITAL REWARD

      For the External Digital Reward offer template, the user is allowed to select a voucher group name from the available list. Upon selection, all other details are auto-populated based on the chosen voucher group. This template differs from others as it involves third-party digital voucher offers and is not dependent on food items.

      Note: The External Digital Reward offer template will follow the same approval process as other templates

      Product Selection

      How to select products/discount to include in this offer:

      Click Select Products to display the Product Selection window.


      Notice the left and right pane.  Select from the available Custom Sets, Products or Product Groups. 

      Notice the search bar at the top of each pane, this allows you to search via:

      • Product Code
      • Name
      • Group Name
      • Set name

      Click  to display the set details.

      Click  on the desired Sets, Products and/or Groups under Available Products to transfer your selection to the Selected Product pane.

      Click to remove a Set/Product and the items are returned to the right pane.

      When you select from:

      • Products - The individual product appears in the right pane under Selected products. 
      • Sets - The entire content of the set appears in the right pane under Selected Products. Therefore, if any changes are made to this set, the products are automatically updated in the relevant offers.
        • Notice you can toggle products within the set to enable/disable them without removing. This ensures seamless automatic updates if changes are made to the initial set.

      • Groups - The entire list of products relevant to this group appears in the right pane under Selected Products. If items are added or removed from this group, this offer is not automatically updated.  All group changes need to be entered manually. 

      Offer Management

      As we always strive to help you reach maximum efficiency, we keep your offers landing page clean and clear of clutter by auto-archiving any offers that are no longer in use. 
      (By default, this is set to archive any offer that has not been used in the last 12 months however this is configurable per market). 

      To assist with Offer management, we provide numerous options. Let's begin with review of the filtering options. Choose to view all, or filter to focus on the Offers of interest. 

      By default, prior to entering filtering criteria, all non-archived offers will be displayed. 

      You can chose to filter by:

      • Template
      • Status
      • Tags
      • Zone
      • Keyword Search such as: 
        • Offer ID
        • Offer Title
        • Offer Subtitle
        • Offer Description
        • Offer T&C
        • Product Code
        • Product Name
        • Underlying Image Name
        • Underlying Image ID
        • Image Description

      Your search results display are based on the following criteria:

      1. Exact match of the Offer ID 
      2. Exact match of Offer Title
      3. Exact match on Offer Subtitle
      4. Partial match of Title
      5. Partial match of Subtitle
      6. Exact match of additional fields
      7. Partial match of additional fields

      Once you are viewing the Offers of interest, hover over any offer to display the three management tools.

      •  - Select to view the Offer details. Once in this view, actions are displayed based on Offer status.
        The table below describes available actions per status.
      •  - Opens the offer in edit mode to allow for updates as needed.
      •  /  - Archives/Unarchives the offer.
      The table below reflects the actions that can be performed based on status. Below the table is a description of the actions.

        • Edit - Add/ delete/change details within an offer. If there are campaigns using an offer edited, you will be notified of the impact and must confirm you wish to proceed.

          • Factors to consider:
            • You are not able to change the offer template of approved offers.
            • If you choose to edit the T&C directly from the offer, an information icon is displayed in the T&C text box informing you that an edit has been made and potential consequences. See info box below:
              Information Changes made to the T&C from within the offer are not reflected in the T&C repository. In addition, no future template changes are applied to this T&C.
               
        • Reject - Offer cannot be used. You can enter the reason for rejection which allows user to return to the offer and edit details necessary to resubmit.  
        • Approve -  Offer is now ready to be used in campaigns.
          • Users with administrator, creator and/or trainee roles can approve and reject offers and campaigns.
          • The market can be configured to allow an administrator the ability to enable self approval which allows administrators and creators to approve or reject offers and campaigns they have created.
        • Archive - Preserve all details of an offer however remove from current available offers to be used in campaigns. Offers cannot be archived if they are used in non-archived campaigns. If you attempt to archive, the following notification appears:
            
        • Unarchive - Take an offer that has been previously archived and make it available in draft status. 
        • Duplicate - Create a copy of all details of an existing offer and allow for editing to make changes as needed.
        • View Usage - Displays all campaigns using this offer.
          • If offer is not in use, a toast will inform you that the offer is not being used in campaigns.
        • Download Usage Report - From any window that offers the  you can click to generate a csv file of the details.


        Information The following information is only relevant if local zone management is enabled in your market. 

        Notice the  icon on the upper right corner of your Offers page. This will open the Zone Offer Management window which enables the ability to filter the Offer library of a specific zone. 

        Notice you can filter the offer library of a specific zone by status, template and/or tags.

        As you select the relevant zones, they appear in the Available Offers pane.

        By selecting one or more zones, you are able to manage the various offer libraries for different zones and markets that are managing campaigns with the use of zone granularity.

        • The Available Offers display all approved, draft and pending approval Offers
        • The Selected Offers display the offers that are assigned in all zones selected.

        Hover over any Offer to display the two management tools.

        Click  to view the Offer details.

        Click  to add an Offer to the Selected offers pane.

        Click  to remove an Offer. (Note that if you remove an Offer it is removed from all zones selected in the filter.)

        DOE Offer List Screen

        1. Access and Navigation

          1. All user roles have access to the DOE offer list screen.
          2. A new tab, "DOE Offers", will be added under the "Offers" menu.
          3. Clicking on this tab navigates users to the DOE offers list screen, displaying only DOE offers.
        2. Screen Functionality

          1. New Filters:
            1. Offer Bank and Offer Group:
              • Multi-select dropdowns.
              • Offer Group will be enabled only when Offer Bank is selected.
              • Offer Group and Offer Bank drop down values are searchable.
          2. Offer Display:
            1. Only DOE offers are listed.
            2. BAU offers are not impacted/listed.
          3. User Permissions:
            1. All users can view DOE offers.
            2. Only admin users can edit DOE offers.
          4. Status Filter:
            1. Displays only "Approved" and "Archived" offers.

        Adding New Offers to the DOE Offer List

        1. Offer Creation
          1. Offers are auto-created based on the offer bank recommendations.

        Updates to DOE Offer View and Edit Flow

            1. DOE Offers cannot be Rejected.
            2. DOE Offers cannot be Archived (Manually) or Duplicated.
