Audit Log

Your VCE generates audit logs of every manual action performed within the system, which user performed said action and allows you to define the time period you wish to analyze. The ability to monitor these actions are essential for maintaining security and data recovery.

Audit Log

Navigate to the Reports tab and select Audit from the submenu. 

Notice the filtering options. Choose to view all, or filter to focus on the logs of interest.

You may filter by:

  • Type
  • Action
  • Search by keywords

A detailed audit log is displayed that includes:

  • User name - Name of user that entered a change in the VCE.
  • Time - Date and time a change was made. 
  • Action performed - Not all actions are applicable to all entities. 
  • Entity Type 
  • Entity Name
  • Entity ID
